I, a few plates slightly spotted at margins, some tips of corners creased in vol. I.) Near-contemporary green straight-grained morocco gilt, covers with Greek-key roll-tool border, spines gilt in six compartments, turn-ins with pentaglyph and rosette tools, g.e. (spines and corners slightly rubbed, small stain on back cover of vol.II). Second edition of this "collector's book on the grand scale, luxurious in format, paper and illustrations" (Ray). Like the first edition of 1784, the second was apparently limited to 200 copies.
