Contemp. armorial binding: red morocco, central gilt arms on covers within double gilt ruled border with cypher initials in corners, richly gilt orn. spine with 5 raised bands with repeated cypher initials, a.e.g., mod. marbl. pastedowns (some tiny def., some exp. rep. at spine, corners sl. bumped). Good copy. Revised ed. of the famous Tacitus by Justus Lipsius. Printed in Leiden by Raphelengius, some copies have the Raphelengius address on title. Mark on title. Ref.
