Sweet, Robert Gerniaceae. The Natural Order of Gerania … comprising the numerous and beautiful mule-varieties cultivated in the gardens of Great Britain, with directions for their treatment. London: for James Ridgway, 1820–1830 5 volumes, 8vo (9 1/2 x 6 1/8 in.; 241 x 155 mm). 500 hand-colored engraved plates by S. Watts, after drawings by E. D. Smith; some offsetting and spotting, but generally a clean copy. 19th-century tan calf, spines elaborately gilt in six compartments, morocco lettering-pieces, edges gilt, gilt dentelles, marbled endpapers; occasional wear and staining.
