Soiling to front cover. Top corner creased, bottom corner has tiny chip. Pages count: 52 pp. including covers. Off-white pages. Cover by Wayne Boring (George Roussos inks). Scripts by Alvin Schwartz (ghosting for Jerry Siegel), Don C. Cameron (ghosting for Siegel), Whitney Ellsworth. Art by Sam Citron (ghosting for Joe Shuster , Pete Riss. Superman is appalled when Lois Lane is set on fire set and tossed off a skyscraper by his enemy, the Prankster. As the flames consume a falling Lois, Superman threatens: "That's the rottenest stunt you've pulled yet—and you'll spend the rest of your life being sorry for it!" Superman catches his flaming friend ("She must be terribly burned—perhaps killed!") but finds it's only a wax dummy. Superman seethes with silent fury, punk'd by the Prankster.
