Gründungswerk der älteren Franziskaner-Schule, "von gewaltigem Einfluß auf die ganze Theologie" (LThK). - Prachtvoller Koberger-Druck auf starkem Papier mit schönen eingemalten Initialen und sehr breiten Rändern (tls. mit Témoins). Kollation: 166 nn. Bll. (d. l. w.); 328 (st. 340) nn. Bll.; 245 nn. Bll. (ohne das l. w. Bl.); 359 nn. Bll. (ohne das l. w. Bl.). - Fehlt in Tl. 2 die später erschienene Tabula (Bll. 1-11, davon das erste u. letzte weiß) sowie das letzte weiße Bl. - In Tl. 1 die Bll. 3-6 ans Ende gebunden. - Zustand: Wenige Bll. gebräunt oder wasserrandig, erste Bll. meist mit altem Stempel der Bibliotheca Paulina des Jesuitenkollegs Münster (barbarischerweise auch im Binnenraum von 2 gr. Splendid printing by Koberger with 3 large painted initials in red and blue as well as numerous painted lombards in red or blue. 4 parts in 3 volumes. Half pigskin over wooden boards in contemp. style. - Lacking in part 2 the later published "Tabula" (leaves 1-11, of which the first and last blank), further in part 3 and 4 lacking the final blank each. - In part 1 the leaves 3-6 bound at end. - Few leaves browned or waterstained, first leaves mostly with old stamp of Bibl. Paulina of the Jesuit school in Münster (2 of which inside of a large initial), 3 leaves with old ownership inscription (Jesuits near Oelde). Fine copy in excellent condition.
