Westminster: Archibald Constable and Company, 1897. 8 o. 8-page publishher's advertisemtns at end printed on laid paper (p. 1 advertising Meredith's The Amazing Marriage and no mention of Dracula ). Original yellow cloth, red-lettered on covers and spine, (covers slightly soiled, spine a little age-toned with minor wear at ends); quarter morocco folding case. Provenance : Broome Park, Betchworth, Surrey (bookplate). THE MOST FAMOUS AND INFLUENTIAL OF ALL VAMPIRE NOVELS. FIRST EDITION, FIRST ISSUE, without the advertisement for The Shoulder of Shasta on p. [392].
