Other parts stamped with a sub-inspector's C. With one-piece walnut grip. Condition: The barrel has a mottled grey and plum patina. The lever has a mottled grey and brown patina with some small areas of original case coloring showing through. The frame has a mostly grey patina, with small traces of blue in protected areas. It also has some small areas of pitting, mottling along the top strap of the frame and near the loading lever. The cylinder has a mottled grey patina with some light dings to the metal. The grips are heavily worn and a cartouche is not present, although it would have been worn off from service wear. The bore will clean to good. The mechanics are good.
