Condition : a bit browned, minor creases, small tear near gutter of second leaf. Provenance : “Thomas H. Haire, Palatka Florida” (contemporary signature). A scarce issue of a newspaper published in Union-occupied Beaufort. Much of the content of this issue concerns activities in Florida and other war news. The final page includes a printing of General Orders No. 34 concerning colored troops, as well as several ads (including one for photographer S. W Sinclair).
