(12mo) original blue cloth-backed boards, spine lettered in black, dust jacket. First Edition. Cornerstone work on the design of the golf courses. H.S. Colt was the first non-professional golfer to work with course design and employ formal renderings, as well as to incorporate turf and tree transplantation as part of his layout model plans. Lot Amendments Condition: Jacket lightly chipped at edges, splitting along spine fold, small loss to lettering; spine cloth soiled, damp stain in gutter of rear endpaper; very good.
