There is a notation that the "drawing of this map provided by Solana Beach Chamber of Commerce." The seven digit phone number given for the lumber company, SK 5-1131, indicates it was likely issued in the late 1940s or 1950s. One of the earliest, if not the earliest, maps of Solana Beach. No copies recorded in OCLC. A few of the older city neighborhoods, such as the famous Seabright acres and Eden Gardens, are already subdivided or developed. Some future neighborhoods existed as tracts, waiting for subdivisions; many others had the lots available for sale.
