Dissertations on various topics of physiology, physics, chemistry and medical physics exposed by the future great Casalese’s scientist Ascanio Sobrero [1812-88], discoverer of nitroglycerin, published thanks to the aggregation at the College of Doctors; they are the first work given to Sobrero's prints. Sobrero gained aggregation at the College of Doctors, but but he haven’t the permission to teach, and disappointment led him to leave medicine to devote himself to chemical research. Cfr.
