Top of barrel shows "SMITH. & WESSON. SPRINGFIELD. MASS." While cylinder marked with weak 1855, 59, and 60 patent dates. Serial number indicates this revolver was manufactured after the end of the American Civil War. Sideplate and ejector are missing. Cylinder and barrel are numbered "999". Condition: Fair. Bore is dark with patina and some oxidation throughout. Metal finish shows no remaining nickel or blue while rust to interior surfaces suggests item was polished at some point. Grips have no remaining varnish and show a rough finish. Action does not consistently index and locks with some wiggle. Hand occasionally skips.
