Small group of items signed by Laurence Olivier, comprising: a copy of his autobiography 'Confessions of an Actor', signed on the title page in blue ink, hardcopy, price-clipped dust jacket, 8vo, Weidenfeld and Nicolson, 1982; a black and white, half length photograph of Olivier as Archie Rice in 'The Entertainer', signed "Laurence Olivier"; a black and white promotional photograph of the actor from the 1952 movie 'Carrie' signed "Laurence Olivier". Also included are a black and white head and shoulders photograph of Joan Plowright signed by the actress and a letter from Mrs Plowright's secretary reading "Miss Plowright has asked me to write on her behalf to thank you for your letter and I happily enclose a signed photograph from her and also your photographs of Lord Olivier duly signed".
