A fine de-luxe issue of Sloane's accomplished life of Napoleon, extravagantly bound and profusely extra-illustrated with military costume prints, views of Europe and various battle sites including many aquatint plates by Bowyer, portraits of his court and generals, and related pictorial memorabilia of Napoleon and his circle.
