Lot of 6, including 5 sixth plate daguerreotypes and one ninth plate daguerreotype. Three of the sixth plates housed in pressed-paper cases, one of which has the pad imprint of photographer A.P. Hart, Elmira, NY, two of the sixth plates are matted under glass but uncased, and the ninth plate is housed in a pressed-paper case with a note identifying the subject as Clara Van Vleet O'Hanlon / taken around 1859. Condition: Two images of women have a solar ring around the image. One of those is also separated from its case. There is spotting where the hand-tinting used to be on the woman without a case.
