Murphy; Sir Ernest Henry Shackleton (1874-1922), and thence by descent. The form of the map suggests that it was prepared as the artwork for an unidentified publication. Murphy visited South Georgia in 1912 and published a number of articles on the island. [ And :] five other pamphlets or off-prints (including two duplicates).
