See page 158 Images of Bradman . This was Bradman's first Test series as captain and also as a selector. Having lost the first 2 Tests Australia levelled the series by winning the 3rd and 4th Tests. The 5th Test was the decider. Bradman's 169 and McCabe's 112 helped Australia mass a total of 604 runs to win by an innings and 200 runs.
