Sino-Tibetan Cloisonne Enameled Gilt-Bronze Seated Bodhisattva Qing Dynasty The figure seated in dhyanasana on a lotus throne holding an alms bowl in the lap, dressed in long red robe open at the chest with jeweled necklaces and armbands, the complacent expression framed by elongated earlobes, large earrings and a foliate-form crown, the hair gathered up in a high topknot, all before a double flame mandorla. Height 16 1/2 inches. C
Loss to inset beading on crown and armbands. Earrings and pearl are later. Flame form surround is possibly later. Possible regilding to chest area. Two square bronze repairs to top surface of base. Expected pitting to cloisonne.
