Silver binding by Miss Lilia Simpson, Art Union of London, the covers pierced, hammered and engraved with figures of angels at center and corners in relief, slightly convex spine panel similarly decorated, metal clasp. Provenance : purchased from Emil Offenbacher, 18 October 1955 (with note that it was in a frame saying that the cover was executed by Miss Lilia Simpson). A very fine Art Nouveau binding.
