MANUSCRIPT ON PAPER [Central or Eastern Europe, 17th-18th century] 4 o[?] (205 x 160 mm). 184 leaves, including some blanks. Brown ink. Ashkenazic semi-cursive script. Many corrections. Varying, often interesting layouts. (Corner of fol. 16 torn with loss of texts, occasional other minor defects affecting some text, old repairs, soiled and stained.) Modern blind and gold-tooled brown morocco, two modern paper flyleaves at back and front. CONTENTS: At the end: secrets of the sefirot (fols. 178r-181r), a prayer to be recited in public when a city is in danger or under siege (fols. 182r-182v), an amulet for a woman in labour (fol. 183v), and a prayer for a barren woman (fol. 184r).
