A loyal disciple of the Satmar Rebbe Rabbi Yoel Teitelbuam; served as rabbinical authority in Satmar, Rabbi of Năsăud from 1938. After the Holocaust, he immigrated to Jerusalem and served as Rosh Yeshiva of Satmar and rabbinical authority. Rabbi of the Eidah Chareidit. After the" Minchat Yitzchak" died was appointed Ga'avad (Chief Rabbi) of the Eidah Chareidit. Was known as a tzadik and miracle worker and many people in need of salvation came to him for blessings.
