Seth Thomas Oak 3 Weight No. 22-74 Floor Standing Hall Clock. 2 tone silvered 10 in. dial signed "Seth Thomas", hour numbers, filigree corner spandrels and paper label on the moon phase dial. Brass weight driven No. 74-B movement is signed with Seth Thomas trade mark on the front plate, has a deadbeat escapement, maintaining power, hour strike on a coiled gong and progressive quarter hour Westminster strike on a nest of 4 bells; long ebonized wood pendulum stick with brass covered bob and 3 brass covered weights with solid brass pulleys. In a carved oak case with pediment crest ribbon and stylized seashell carving on the bonnet, beveled glass, elegant turned and fluted corner columns with carved ionic capitols and stands on claw feet. Case is missing bonnet finials, missing hour hand, pendulum stick is broken; overcoated original finish, clock runs and strikes. 94.25 in. high x 23 in. wide x 13.5 in. deep.
