Approbation of Rebbe Rabbi Ya’akov Shimshon of Shepetivka “Av Beit Din of community of Slavita and rabbi in community of Shepetivka, Bar, Uman and region”. In the approbation he mentions the “printing press which was established in Slavita by exalted wholesome Torah scholar of Venice Rabbi Pinchas” [based on this approbation some attributed the establishment of a printing press in Slavita to Rabbi Pinchas of Koretz father of Rabbi Moshe Shapira – see Bibliography Institute CD record 0108497]. Additional approbation by Rebbe Rabbi Aryeh Leib Av Beit Din of Wolotschysk, “to printers of Slavita”. [It should be noted that his son, Rabbi Yosef Yoska Segal Av Beit Din of Iaşi, is mentioned on title page of Or HaChaim Chumashim which were printed in Slavita during those years].
