.45-70 caliber, 24" round barrel, S/N 6507. Barrel has three land and groove rifling. Barrel has "VP" and eagle stamped near the receiver on the left side of barrel. "HC" marked rear sight. Top of receiver marked with "HN" initials. Short bolt handle with "HN" marked in places. Still retains the original cleaning rods. Walnut stock. Condition: Barrel and receiver still retain most of the re-blue finish. Stock is void any oil finish, just a dry look. Bore is good.
