Scrase (James, 1937-). In 1966 a corneal graft in Bristol improved his eyesight in one eye and allowed him to pursuit his artistic endeavours. In 1973 Scrase started working with Pietro Annigoni and spent 6 years working under his direction, returning to Bristol in 1979.
