12 gauge 34" barrel with gold inlay 1194. Breech with ornate gold inlay of hunting dog and quail. Lockplate with gold inlay of hunting dog and engraving of a quail. Engraved tang with checkered wrist and forearm. Trigger guard with pineapple inlay and a German silver escutcheon plus two German silver inlays on both sides of wrist. Condition: A wonderful English fowler with nice engravings and gold inlays on the barrel and lock. All metal surfaces have a nice deep brown look. Excellent stock with a few minor abrasions.
