Hain-C. 14110; GW M14652; BMC V, 286; Goff J-405; Hamel 8; Essling 258; Sander 6661. - Bedeutende Ausgabe der Sphaera mundi, da erstmalig mit dem angehängten Werk des Johannes Regiomontanus "Disputationes contra Cremonensia deliramenta" sowie dem bedeutenden astronomischen Textbuch von Georg Peurbach, der "Theoricae novae planetarum", zusammengedruckt. - Etwas fleckig u. fingerfleckig, restaurierte Wurmspuren im Fußsteg, ganzs. Illustration aufgezogen (geringe Bildverluste ergänzt), mehrere Bll. mit Restaurierungen in Bund- u. Fußsteg, bei ca. 8 Bll. am Schluss mit Verlust einiger Buchstaben, Bl. c1v u. c2r schmutzfleckig. First edition with these diagrams. "The diagrams are of considerable importance, since parts of Peurbach's text would be unintelligible without them" (DSB XV, 475). 8 of the diagrams in contemporary colouring. The work by Regiomontanus here printed for the first time. - Some thumbing and spotting, some marginal worming, full-page woodcut backed with paper (minor loss supplied by hand), several leaves with marginal restorations, c. 8 leaves at end with loss of a few letters, ll. c1v and c2r stained. Old brown leather binding tooled in blind, somewhat rubbed, restored.
