Prince Januarius, Count of Caltagirone, was born on 28th February 1857. He was the last child and son of Ferdinand II, and died of cholera at the very early age of ten. He was a brother of Spanish King Ferdinand VII, as well as uncle and father-in -law of Queen Isabella II. He lived in exile after the Napoleonic invasión.
