Royal Irish Constabulary Officer’s Pouch Belt Plate & Pouch Badge. Two extremely fine examples featuring new designs, the pouch belt plate of two part construction featuring the first pattern Imperial crown over a decorative cross, ‘Royal Irish Constabulary’, mounted on a Celtic style cross the Harp, four screw post fasteners made by TBW Birmingham 1916; the pouch of similar format but without the top crown and the arms of the cross more decorative, a plain disc centre mounted with St. Edward’s crown over the Harp, two screw post fasteners. Struck with the maker’s mark only, ‘B&P’, very fine condition (2) £800-1200
