Volumes I-XXX and the five index volumes uniformly-bound in contemporary half calf gilt, red morocco spine labels, the other volumes in half calf (4 vols.), original blue cloth (13 vols.), later blue cloth (2 vols.), or original printed wrappers (10 vols.). A good run covering an important period in the discovery and exploration by the 'west' of many fascinating areas of the world: Africa, Australia, the Arctic, South America and Asia.
