ROMAN BRONZE MERCURY FIGURINE Circa 2nd century AD. A cast bronze nude standing figure of Mercury with talaria or winged boots, a cloak draped over the left shoulder and arm and a petasus cap on the head, holding a bag of coins in the right hand; supplied with a custom made stand. Bronze, 130 grams, 87 mm including stand. Very fine condition. Provenance Private collection; bought UK art market, acquired prior to 2000.
