A very rare and attractive 18K gold chronograph wristwatch with black dial, bracelet, original guarantee, brochure and box Signed Rolex, Cosmograph, Daytona, Ref. 6239, case no. 1'938'053, circa 1968 MOVEMENT: manual, cal. 722-1, 17 jewels DIAL: blacK, applied gold baton numerals with luminous accents, luminous hands, three engine-turned subsidiary gilt dials for constant seconds, 30 minutes and 12 hours registers CASE: 18K gold, bezel calibrated for 200 units, screw back with engraved facsimile inscription reading Simon, 27-X-73 , screw down crown, two round chronograph buttons in the band, 36 mm. diam. SIGNED: case, dial and movement BRACELET/CLASP: 18K gold Rolex Oyster bracelet and deployant clasp stamped 3.69, overall approximate length 190 mm.
