Provenienz: Ex Sammlung H.G., Rheinland-Pfalz, Sammlung zwischen 1970 und 1999 erworben. Roman terra sigillata flask with appliques. North Africa, 3rd century A.D. Between three trees and below of two garlands a scene with the raping of a woman (perhaps Apoll and Daphne) and Amor in front of an altar. The lower part is reassembled from fragments, only a little spot is retouched, otherwise in good condition.
