(9 9/16 x 6 1/2 x 1 15/16in.), A COSWAY BINDING, red crushed levant morocco, covers with double gilt fillet border around panels of gilt leaf spray tools and SET WITH EIGHT MINIATURES OF PORTRAITS AND SCENES FROM THE BOOK BY MISS C.B. CURRIE (Lalla Rookh, Zelica, Zelica discovering the veiled Prophet, the Peri at the Gate of Eden, the Peri's first Pilgrimage, the parting of Hinda and Iran, the Departure of Iran, Hinda), four on each cover, two oval: 88 x 53mm., 3 7/16 x 2 1/16in., two circular: 42mm., 1 5/8in. diam.), framed with dense gilt dotting and open flower and leaf tooling; spine in six compartments with five raised bands, gilt lettered in two compartments, a panel of gilt leaf tools repeated in the rest; board edges with double gilt fillet, turn-ins gilt, doublures and free end pages of ivory watered silk, t.e.g., stamp-signed in gilt by the biders on the upper doublure: "Bound by Riviere & Son from Designs by J.H. Stonehouse" and gilt-stamped on lower doublure: "Miniatures by C.B.
