(9 1/2 x 6 1/2 x 1 15/16in.), a pictorial inlaid binding, dark green levant morocco gilt, covers with single gilt fillet around an inner panel border of paired strapwork fillets and a continuous band with gilt dot and line, circles, squared corners and small heart tools, upper cover with large vari-colored leather inlay representing one of the plates in the book, with gilt lettered caption; spine in six compartments with five raised bands, gilt lettered in two compartments, an ornamental panel in the the rest; board edges and turn-ins gilt, marbled endpapers, g.e., stamp-signed by the binders on upper turn-in, cloth slipcase. 16 color illustrations.
