The first edition of this zoological publication of the voyage of the Herald , with descriptions of fossil bones from Eschscholtz Bay. Half-title. 33 lithograph plates printed on india paper and mounted, 17 of which are double-page (a little foxing to a handful of plates). Modern red half morocco gilt over marbled boards.
