Republican Autograph Album A good Autograph Album containing signatures of former Republican Prisoners, mostly written at St. Mary's Infirmary, Highgate, and Cornwallis Hospital, where prisoners were apparently, taken after a hunger strike in Wormwood Scrubs, 1920. With owner's name of Sean Murphy, contains upwards of a hundred names, mostly from Co's. Cork, Clare & Tipperary, but some others, some with brief messages referring to hunger strike, some in Irish, and a good pen & ink drawing of a prisoner in a hospital bed, etc. Sm. 8vo orig. cloth binding, good.
