Bensley, 1808 [watermarked 1807]. 2° (505 x 360mm). 21 plates and vignettes including a hand-coloured engraved general ground plan, 9 hand-coloured aquatints (6 with overslips, 1 with overpage, 2 folding), 1 sepia aquatint, the remainder uncoloured aquatints, all by Stadler after Repton. (Tear in final folding plate just touching illustration, some slight dust-soiling, mostly marginal.) Contemporary blue blind-stamped morocco with gilt fillet border on covers (slightly rubbed and faded, rebacked). FIRST EDITION, with the frontispiece uncoloured. Abbey Scenery 55; Tooley 396.
