Provenance : Presentation inscription "From John Bohn" (presumably the London bookseller) on title-page; John Howell (bookplate). Renouard was perhaps most known for his bibliographies of the Aldine and Estienne presses. He was also a bookseller and collector, and several of the miscellaneous books included in this sale can be found in the 1819 catalogue to his library entitled Catalogue de la bibliothèque d'un amateur .
