Condition: This civilian Model Navy pistol is in overall good to very good condition displaying a dark patina to metal surfaces with scattered pinprick pitting. Fair bore with some spots of erosion. Good action and markings including anchor on top of barrel at breech, but no inspector's initials or markings visible. Per Flayderman's Guide to Antique American Firearms, approximately 6,500 made between 1866 and 1870.
