.31 cal., 3" octagonal barrel, S/N 302. Blued finish with gutta percha grips. Listed as 1st model 3d issue and illustrated on page 30 of Remington's First Revolvers by Charles Schif (2007). Condition: Barrel retains 90% of the original blue finish thinning on the edges. Frame retains 60%; the rest is thinning to a brown. Cylinder retains 70% with two bright lines through the cylinder. Brass guard still retains most of the silver-plated finish. Grips are excellent.
