Lot of 14. Highlights include a view of the historic Whipple building adorned with patriotic swags and pennants in Lebanon, NH, with tenants including Bridgman's Furniture and Grocery, Wilson Pond Millinery, and Richardson & Emerson Dry Goods; an elaborate display of fruits, vegetables, and potted plants, likely exhibited by the state of New Mexico at the Panama-California Expositon of 1915; and a grouping of four comedic state fair postcards, ca 1908-1914, each with a one-cent revenue stamp affixed on verso to upper right corner, depicting colossal ears of corn, Northern Spy apples, and heads of cabbage, captioned, "Nebr. is the place we grow large cabbage." Half are postally unused, with inscribed cards bearing one or two-cent revenue stamps in upper right corners, one with cancellation reading, "Learn / While You Earn / Join U.S. Army," ca 1920.
