Description: Rare WW1 German U-Boat (UB-73) Photograph Album, compiled by Jakob Oefelein, the album consists of mostly snap shot images taken on board ship, including other crew members, one seen shaving on the deck of the submarine. Good images of the officers and other officials, possibly pre-war. Images of a ship which they have attacked and that is sinking. All housed in a period album with photocopies of the award citations for the U-Boat war badge and Iron Cross, awarded to Jakob Oefelein. 47 images in total, rare to find WW1 German U-Boat photograph albums.
