Single 13.5" Globe Lens On Original Red Ripple Gill Body. An outstanding and rare piece of Circa 1930's Advertising from Western Motor Gasoline, a company of unknown origin and history, but known to have produced three variations of Gas Globes while operating. This incredibly eye appealing lens features an excellent Western scene with Cowboys riding through the desert as well as unique Western script atop, and is mounted on an excellent condition Red Gill Ripple Body. CONDITION: Lens is in excellent condition throughout, showing excellent color & gloss throughout the field with only a couple of minor areas of surface scratch. The lens shows one minor area of cloudiness at the top upper edge but is almost unnoticeable. The lens shows some minimal chipping at the two notches all of which is not noticeable when mounted in a Gill body. The left notch still retains the original screw head from its original mounting lodged in the notch, but is not distracting and is possibly removable if desired. Overall the Lens is in outstanding condition throughout and is a wonderful piece of early & rare Gas & Oil advertising, (8.9+). The original Red Ripple Gill Body is also in outstanding condition, showing excellent colors throughout with almost no areas of wear. Body shows both of this lens bands and is free of any major areas of wear. Body shows only one small quarter inch nick at the edge of the base at the left side but overall outstanding throughout, (9.0+). An incredible displaying piece of unique and rare Gas & Oil advertising, and a centerpiece of graphic advertising collection. Condition: (9.0+ & 8.9+). Item Dimensions: Lens: 13.5" Dia.
