Some fabrics that have bitten golden tints, such as the silk crepes of the 1920s, show a kind of latent light, grained in the black and gold of the ceremonial drapes. Others prefer pink or light green for bright skirts. But as the leitmotiv, since the first woods, it is often the black that creates the light of the motif in Dufy."
