Scarce complete 100-view book/boxed set by Keystone View Co. "Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Centenary Exhibition and Pageant," plus a duplicate of #17 and a nice view by an accomplished amateur close-up portrait of the 4-4-0 locomotive "Satilla" with Burchard notation on verso "Built by Rogers Locomotive Works in 1858, saw service in the Civil War, now owned by Henry Ford." He also notes view #51 in the set features this locomotive (more distance) in the Pageant. The event was held at Halethorpe, Maryland, Sept. 24 to Oct. 16, 1927. Gray curved mounts plus one on cream flat mount. (102 views in lot). A few with Burchard penned notations on versos. Provenance: The Ed Burchard Stereoview Collection Condition: Overall bright and clear in a solid book-volume box with slight rubbing at edges.
