Rabbi Shimon Shlomo Wertheim (1865-1925), Encyclopedia of Chassidut vol. 3 p. 843),son of Admor Rabbi Yitzchak of Benderi, son of Admor Rabbi Shimon Shlomo, son of Admor Rabbi Aryeh Leib Wertheim of Benderi (for more information, see Kedem Catalogue, auction 8, item 95). In the year 1911, he succeeded his father as the Rabbi of Benderi. Exceptional in Torah learning, authored hundreds of responsa and rated amongst the greatest Admorim of the area in Basarabia. 21 cm. Fair condition, rust stains, torn in margins, text intact.
