R. Lalique Molded Glass Hesperides Beverage Service Circa 1931-47 Comprising a pitcher, seven tumblers and a circular tray, in frosted and glossy colorless glass. Height of pitcher 8 3/4 inches, diameter of tray 16 3/4 inches. C
Three of the seven tumblers with shallow flake losses to undersides near the outer rims, otherwise appear to be in generally good condition; five of the tumblers are acid stamped R. LALIQUE in the center, and two are similarly signed although at the outer rim edge indicating they may be later additions; no apparent chips to drinking rim edges, no hairline cracks, etc. Pitcher - generally good condition; shallow flake loss to outer corner underside; some light scratching and scuffing to exterior side from normal use; interestingly, the bottom rim edge is beveled; acid etched R. LALIQUE at outer rim edge Tray - there are some disfiguring scratch marks to the center, otherwise appears to be in generally good condition, no apparent rim chips, hairline cracks, etc.; acid etched R. LALIQUE FRANCE signature
