Annotationes Ioannis de Regio-Monte, [Q8: Strassburg, Johann Grueninger & Johannes Koberger, 3 April 1525], 2°, FIRST PIRCKHEIMER EDITION, 49 woodcut maps only (of 50), maps 46 and 47 on one leaf each, the rest double page, this copy with an additional double-page engraved map of Britain by Ortelius (Antwerp, 1570) bound in at end, most maps with woodcut architectural borders and initials on verso, some also with woodcut illustrations or diagrams, woodcut border to title and preliminaries, text in double column with woodcut diagrams, initials and decorations (lacking the world map, some maps with dampstaining at inner margins or outer blank areas, in some cases the dampstaining is severe enough to have required repairs to inner margins on either verso or recto, map of Tartary (43) is noticeably dampstained at gutter and with laminated repair on blank verso, about 18 other maps have laminated repairs, those of Britain (29), India (44), Switzerland (45) and most others at end, including the map of Greenland & Russia (49) and the engraved map of Britain, have laminations to recto, some dampstaining of text, title and K5r slightly soiled, library blind stamp to title and final map, accession stamp at head of A2), modern morocco-backed hessian.
