An archive of approximately 90 letters to Abraham and Lionel Myers (and later John and Lindo), art and antiques dealers of New Bond Street and Saville Row, from clients all over Europe and the USA, in English, French and German, circa 1853-1890, but principally about 1869, the letters concerning pictures and frames, silver, Wedgwood & Worcester ware, clocks etc., and financial matters, as well as auction commissions, some referring to Christie, Manson & Woods, letters from collectors (Aldred and Lionel de Rothschild, for instance) and artists (Irving Montagu, William Yeames and others), including letters of complaint, together with unrelated letters by artists, several submitting works for an exhibition in Manchester, including Alfred Edward Chalon W.P. Frith (1865), G.R. Ward (1858), George Cattermole (1857), Richard Redgrave William Etty John Callcott Horsley (concerning an illustration for 'The Deserted Village'), Laurence Alma Tadema, Henry Gastineau Edwin Landseer (two, one signed with initials), H.W.
